Jim Marsh of Prague, Oklahoma, is a tournament bass angler whose interest is in promoting fishing to the next generation of anglers.

He is able to relate his experience and knowledge of different techniques in fishing so that any angler, from novice to experienced, can gain from talking to him.

Marsh has proven himself as a successful tournament angler. During the late 1990’s and early 2000’s he fished more than sixty local and regional tournaments with several money finishes, including several first place finishes.

He has also been involved in several community activities, including taking young people fishing, both for fun and competition, and involvement in the “Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs” program, and the PVA Tournament program. He has started an introductory fishing program, H.O.O.K. - Hooked On Our Kids, which continues to grow. This year he will be conducting beginning through advanced fishing classes and seminars at community centers, schools, and with church groups, as well as at retail stores. These programs are a source of great pride and satisfaction for him.
